| yea the laws suck so bad, e.g. i have a party tonight 30 minute drive away, im taking my mate from where i live to the party, but i can't take my girlfriend to it and she lives 5 minute drive away. It's ridiculously unfair to the majority of P Platers who drive responsibly i know that area i'm from out near werribee | |

| hmm i think the main one is that you can only have 1 passenger between the age of 16 and 21...so anyone n that group and you can only take one, really sucks. they've changed the test too, seems like its designed to get people to fail, i think my friends dad found a fact sheet on it saying 70% of people going for their P's fail first time roung :S, some of my frinds have failed twice now and they are actually good drivers | |

| Well thats just gay i think they are doing more these days to not allow drivers. but they dont seem to realise, that the older people did nothing to get their licence. for example - my dad (now in his 40's, got his P's and 2 weeks later had his full licence. and they drive fine. maybe just making it harder to get our licence isnt going to help the fact that P Platers are simply just inexperianced | |

| yea that, but also they're taking precautions for a very small group of P platers that causes every other P plater to be stereotyped as a hoon who speeds and drink/drug drive, there would be seriously like 1 in 30 people that would be any kind of problem and the rest are all responsible, yet the govt is punishing the lot of us *angry* pretty cool how a new person topic went to P plate laws...kinda | |

| What really annoys me is that it will end up putting more cars on the road because of the passenger limit. Example - say I'm going out with 4 friends - we'll need 3 cars; 2 in two cars and 1 on their lonesome which is totally ridiculous, seeing as we COULD be using just one car.
I mean, they're fighting against 'pollution' and telling us to use less energy, good effing job. | |
